This is the first picture I have painted from my trip to the Camino de Santiago. It was a commission for the young man with whom my youngest daughter is walking out. He saw the photograph and fell in love with the scene.

I have tried to introduce an air of calm and introspection to the picture to reflect my state of mind when on camino.
